Reasi Medical Officer revealed that during the COVID study conducted by Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, on the Kakryal (Katra) campus on 31 December 2021 and on 1 January 2022 a total of 13 people were tested positive.

Vide No. BMO / K / N / 1087-88 dated 01-01-2022 has been asked to close the university, in order to curb the spread of the disease.
