Universities differ examinations New Decision to follow

CLUSTER UNIVERSITY SRINAGAR

Cluster University on Saturday postponed offline assessment due to an increase in COVID cases promoted by a new type of infection with Omicron. A notice issued by the Controller Examinations at CUS stated that the revised exam schedule, scheduled for Monday, January 17, will be announced separately.

ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY (IUST)

Register Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) Awantipora Professor Naseer Iqbal said the university was not given any information about the upcoming university exams. Some varsity representatives have been tested for COVID19. "The Vice-Chancellor will take the lead on Monday," he told Greater Kashmir.

Professor Irshad Ahmad Nawchoo said that we don't have any  UG exams scheduled from now on. The university also approved the examination of the Law Office and the second year MBBS examination had to be postponed, ”he said.

Regarding the University Post-Graduate (PG) level assessments organized by certain departments, he said the decision would be announced on Monday. "The PG exams are led by the relevant departments. However, most of them have already received the exams and some will call on Monday," he said. Surprisingly, about 15 people were found to have COVID19 in KU following University experts closing administrative blocks on Friday. "Saturday and Sunday were events at the University so a new decision to continue working in the administration will be taken on Monday," said a University official.

CENTRAL UNIVERSITY OF KASHMIR

Examination management Central University of Kashmir (CUK) Professor Farooq Ahmad Mir said no exams were scheduled until mid-January according to the University's curriculum.

"We had planned for the tests to start at the end of February. However, the decision will be based on Covid-19 status," he said.
