All vacancies recalled by a recent decision of the Administrative Council shall be refferd again to recruitment agencies for immediate recognition in accordance with the new local, booking and recruitment rules that provide equal opportunities for all. A free, fair and merit based selection shall be quickly ensured.

It is also noted that the withdrawal of posts submitted to the PSC / SSB before 31.10.2019 has only been made in the vacancies where the nominations have not been made and the results have not been announced.

It is important to note that many of the vacancies transferred to the PSC / SSB by various departments, have been in place for a long time, in some cases from 2004 onwards. Some of these posts could not have been advertised, as they were against recruitment rules.

Therefore, Selection against these posts could not have been made. The withdrawal of these positions was important to ensure that they could be filled in accordance with the general rules, opening up opportunities for J&K youth.

Appointments to transferable positions need to be made on time, usually within a year or more. Delays of several years vitiates the recruitment process.

The recruitment rules of the various departments have been changed / revised. The qualifications and knowledge required in most places have changed.

After 31.10.2019, some vacancies were re-transferred to the Union Territory of Ladakh. An election against a post submitted to the Union Territory of Ladakh will no longer be held. Therefore, the withdrawal of these positions was necessary.

It is important to note that youth employment opportunities are not in any way reduced by the withdrawal of these vacancies. All of these posts will be re-advertised soon and rental will be completed in instant mode. It is also worth mentioning that the recruitment of about 3000 other Class IV vacancies that were recently advertised will soon be terminated. (GNS).
